What happens when I get there?
You will be greeted by one of our Greeters just outside the Worship Center doors. What childcare is offered?
We have a tremendous Children’s Ministry at South Brandon, designed to partner with parents and invest in the spiritual growth of your children. Our Ministry Leaders love Jesus and children and eagerly await the opportunity to connect with your family!
During the 9:15 Worship Service, we have “Kingdom Kids”, designed for children from birth through 5th grade. During the 10:45 service, we offer childcare for birth through five years of age.
We have a specially designed Children’s Check-In Area which is located through the double doors furthest from the road. At the Children’s Check-In Area, you will be greeted by a Children’s Ministry Worker who will give you a name badge and number for your child, as well as answer any questions you have about the class your child will be attending. Should the Ministry Workers need to contact you for anything regarding your child during the Worship Service, the number on your child’s name badge (and your corresponding parent badge) will be displayed on the Worship Center screens.

What do I do before the service starts?
If you arrive before the service starts, you will notice that our Worship Center is an auditorium filled with rows of chairs. There are no reserved seats, so you may sit anywhere. Our Worship Team may be finishing preparation for the Morning Worship Service, but you are welcome to come in and enjoy the music. Should you need to use the restrooms, they are located in the main hallway just outside the Worship Center. Please come in and make yourself at home as you prepare to worship with us!

What is the worship like?
Worship Services generally last about 1 hour and 15 minutes. We begin our Worship Services with a joyful time of worship and praise, led by a full worship band of drums, guitars, keyboards, and vocalists. The music is contemporary and celebratory. We have two large video screens which will have the words to any songs the congregation sings. We believe that God will lead you in the worship style you feel most comfortable with. There may be special announcements or features and occasionally dramas and videos are presented (often humorous).

What denomination is South Brandon Worship Center?
South Brandon is a Southern Baptist Church that fully embraces the Holy Spirit and the proper exercise of His Gifts. We are grateful to be a part of a Baptist tradition that emphasizes faithfulness to the Word of God and reaching the lost. At the same time, we are grateful for the fervor and enthusiasm which may be characterized of more charismatic churches. Our desire is to be committed to both as faithfully as we can. We are real people wanting to encounter a real God!
At South Brandon, you will find faithful teaching of the Bible as the inerrant Word of God. You will also find freedom and order in Worship. We believe worshiping God is the most exciting thing on earth and therefore we encourage people to worship God with enthusiasm!

How are guests greeted in the Worship Service?
We are honored to have you join us in worship and desire to make you feel welcomed, but do not want to embarrass you in any way. During our Welcome and Offering time, we will thank our guests for joining us and direct your attention to a place in your Worship Guide you can fill out to help us connect with you. This sheet can be handed to the Pastor on your way out and will assist us in praying for you and answering any questions you have about the church. After our Welcome, we encourage everyone to greet each another as we continue to sing in worship. This allows you to meet new people in a safe environment.

What is the Pastor's message like?
Our Pastor is down-to-earth, humorous and genuinely caring, desiring for your family to encounter a real God in a real way. His messages are biblical, passionate, creative and relevant to the needs of everyday life, often incorporating visual illustrations or other creative means to reinforce the truths of the message.

What should I wear to South Brandon?
We encourage people to worship God in a way that most suits who they are. We have many people who wear business casual-type clothing, while others wear jeans and a t-shirt, and some wear dresses and suits. We want you to be comfortable worshiping with us, so please just “come as you are!” All we ask is that clothing is appropriate in regard to decency and modesty.
